When shooting waves my approach is to burst a few frames in the field for each wave and select the most photogenic ones later in post production. Oftentimes I’m asked what the discarded frames look like so I’ve made a few animated gifs to show you the preceding and following images that makes up each burst. The selection of the keepers is obviously a matter of personal taste.

After about ten years from its first launch (and a couple of minor upgrades along the way), I decided it was about time to redesign the whole thing over. It should look way better on mobile devices now, with improved overall usability.

While in Springdale, Utah, I had the pleasure to visit Michael Fatali’s gallery and meet him in person. His photography had a huge influence in my vision and seeing his Cibachrome prints was a jaw dropping experience. It is an outstanding book with works of photographers from all over the world and I’m honored that one of my images has been selected.

My “Rough sea 12” image has been featured in the photographic book “Passion” published by the 1x.com site. The book is packed with outstanding works of photographers from all over the world and I’m honored that one of my images has been selected.
