Editions.

All the prints are produced in a "Numbered Edition" fashion: this means that each print is progressively numbered but the size of edition is open (as opposed to "Limited Edition": here only a fixed amount of prints is made in one batch and once the edition is sold out no more prints are made).
You'll find the progressive number on the back of the print together with my signature.

Materials quality.

All my works are printed using fine art papers and inks, rated to last a lifetime (not less than 70 years!).
I mainly use papers with a matte finish. I may use papers with semi-glossy finish if the subject calls for it.
Every work-art I produce is the culmination of endless print proofs (and sleepless nights!) to enhance your viewing pleasure.
For the work-art matting I only use museum grade mat boards (the ones with the highest longevity) with a bevel cut of 45 degrees.

Work-art dimensions.

The dimensions of the photographs stated in the purchase pages may vary a little, depending on the proportions of the image (i.e.:some images are in panoramic format, with the horizontal side much longer than the vertical one).

The mat dimensions are a consequence of the photography dimensions. As a general rule I keep the mat borders between 1" 1/2  and  2" 1/4, depending on the size of the photography. Due to the fact that each photography has its own proportions, I can't guarantee that the final size of the mat or of the photo will be exactly the one stated in the purchase page.

Frames.

To complement the artwork with a frame I suggest you to choose one that doesn't draw attention away from the photo and possibly have a color that matches well with the photo. As a general rule a black or cherry wood frame will be the best choice.

Edizioni.

Le stampe sono prodotte in "Edizione Numerata": questo significa che ogni stampa è numerata progressivamente ma l'edizione è aperta (al contrario di "Edizione Limitata" in cui si producono contemporaneamente solo un determinato numero di stampe e quando l'edizione viene interamente venduta non vengono eseguite più stampe e l'edizione viene definitivamente chiusa).
Troverete il numero progressivo sul retro della foto assieme alla mia firma.

Qualità dei materiali.

Tutti i miei lavori sono stampati utilizzando carte ed inchiostri "fine-art", classificati per durare non meno di 70 anni.
Uso principalmente carte con finitura opaca. A volte uso carte con finitura semi-lucida se il soggetto lo richiede.
Ogni opera che produco è la culminazione di infiniti provini di stampa (e di notti insonni!), eseguiti con lo scopo di ottenere la massima qualità ed accrescere la Vostra soddisfazione.

Per i passe-partout utilizzo solo materiali selezionati di qualità museo (i più durevoli) con un taglio smussato a 45 gradi.

Dimensioni delle opere.

Le dimensioni delle foto indicate nelle pagine di acquisto possono variare leggermente (ad esempio: alcune immagini sono in formato panoramico, con il lato orizzontale molto più lungo di quello verticale).

Le dimensioni del passe-partout (se acquistate una foto con il passe-partout) sono diretta conseguenza delle dimensioni della fotografia. Come regola generale realizzo i passe-partout con bordi dai 3 ai 6 cm circa, a secondo della grandezza della fotografia. Siccome ciascuna fotografia ha proporzioni leggermente diverse da ogni altra, non posso garantire che le dimensioni finali del passe-partout o della fotografia siano esattamente quelle indicate nella pagina di acquisto.

Cornici.

Nella scelta di una cornice Vi suggerisco di considerarne una non troppo appariscente (in modo da non distrarre lo sguardo dalla fotografia) e che abbia un colore che si sposi bene con la foto. Come regola generale una cornice nera o ciliegio è la scelta migliore.
